Q. How do i make a booking?

A. Complete the booking form that can be found by clicking here.

Q. What happens after i have completed the Booking from?

A. Once we receive the booking form you will be sent an invoice via PAYPAL. You can then pay online using your credit card. On receipt of your payment we will send you a travel confirmation voucher. Please note this takes up to 7 days from date of payment.

Q. Can i pay a deposit and the balance before i travel?

A. In most instances you can pay a 50% deposit if you are travelling months in advance, however depending upon your time of travel and which tour is booked, full payment may be required to confirm your booking. When you have been given a special rate then full payment is required.

Q. What is your cancellation policy.

Q. What type of vehicles are used for transfers?

A. Normally you will be transferred to and from the National Parks and airports in an air- conditioned mini bus.

Q. How many people are normally on the vehicles?

A. For airport and transfers to and from the National Park’s, normally 8 – 12 passengers. Safari drive vehicles take a maximum of 9 passengers.

Q. Are the safaris in open jeeps?

A. Depending upon which tour you have selected, will depend on which safari vehicle is used, however 90% of the time the safaris will be conducted in open safari jeeps.

Q. What type of vehicles are used for multi day and Overland tours?

A. Multi Day tours make use of air conditioned mini buses that seat up to 12 passengers or coaches that can seat up to 60 passengers. Overland tours will too make use of mini buses that seat up to 12 passengers or specially designed over-landing trucks that can take up to 22 passengers.

Q. Do you offer vegetarian meals?

A. Yes. Most lodges and establishments used will cater for vegetarian needs.

Q. Do you offer Halaal meals?

A. Yes. Most lodges and establishments used will cater for Halaal needs.

Q. Do you offer Kosher meals?

A. Yes. But only selected establishments will facilitate Kosher needs.

Q. Do you offer Vegan meals?

A. Yes. But only selected establishments will facilitate Vegan needs.

Q. If i have food allergies can you still assist me?

A. Yes. You will need to inform us of your exact allergies and requirements so we can send this through to the Lodge when making the booking.

Q. How long is the drive from Johannesburg to the Kruger Park?

A. Approximately 6 hours by bus, depending upon which region you will be visiting.

Q. How long does it take to fly to the Kruger Park from Johannesburg?

A. Approximately 55 min.

Q. Is the water safe to drink?

A. Yes running tap water is safe to drink, however bottled water is readily available throughout Africa and you will be able to purchase bottled water at most shops during your trip.

Q. Do i need to take vaccinations?

A. Please consult your Doctor.

Q. What about Malaria?

A. Malaria is a threat in Africa depending upon which region you visit, however there are various ways to avoid contracting malaria so please consult your Doctor.

Q. Can i fly from Johannesburg to the Kruger Park?

A. Yes you can.

Q. Can i fly from Johannesburg to the Kruger Park and return by Bus?

A. Yes you can.

Q. Can i fly from Johannesburg to the Kruger Park and then to Cape Town?

A. Yes you can.

Q. Can i fly from Johannesburg to the Kruger Park and then to Port Elizabeth?

A. Yes you can.

Q. Can i fly from Johannesburg to the Kruger Park and then to Victoria Falls?

A. Yes you can.

Q. Can i do all of the above in reverse order?

A. Yes you can.

Q. Do you offer assistance with car, 4×4 and Motor home rentals and itineraries?

A. Yes we do.

Q. Where do Kruger Park tours start and finish?

A. By road, the tour will start and finish in Johannesburg, Pretoria or Nelspruit. If you fly in and out of the Kruger then depending upon your final destination will depend where your tour ends.

Q. Where do you pick me up?

A. From the OR Tambo Aiport in Johannesburg, the Hotel where you are staying or a Private Residence.

Q. Should i and how much should i tip?

A. Tips are not included in the price of your safaris. This is entirely your decision, however normally for waiters it is polite to leave approximately 10% of the bill and for your drivers and guides approximately USD$ 20 per day for a multi day guide and USD$20 for a transfer driver. Taxi drivers normally work on a 5 – 10 % tip of the total fare.

Q. How will i find your driver at the Airport?

A. Our drivers and Guides will have a name board with your name on it and wait at the arrivals hall for you. If by any chance you should miss each other, please make your way to the nearest information desk and wait there.

Q. Is my child allowed on safari?

A. Children are allowed on safari at most lodges throughout Southern Africa. Some luxury lodges do not allow children under a certain age however. It is also important to note that there are various child restrictions on safari activities such as drives and walks. These restrictions vary from lodge to lodge.

Q. Do i require a visa to visit African Countries?

A. The best answer is for you to contact your local embassy in your own Country and get the information first hand. Certain Countries have certain Visa and Passport requirements and your Embassy will know best.
