The Kruger National Park and surrounding Private Game Reserves in South Africa offer various types of accommodation, ranging from budget camping to luxury lodges, tented lodges and tree house camps.
Private lodges offer guests a luxury safari experience with spacious rooms or suites, three meals per day and normally twice daily safari drives. Camping safaris are for the adventurous at heart and offer basic beds and communal bathrooms in one of the main rest camps situated within the Kruger National Park.
Tented lodges and camps offer you the opportunity of experiencing an African Safari staying in a tented room with en suite bathroom and normally air-conditioning or ceiling fan. Hotels are situated just outside the Kruger National Park and offer comfortable rooms with air-conditioning and televisions. Safari drives will still be conducted inside the Kruger Park and you are collected twice daily from the hotel reception area.
