Walking Safaris are facilitated by experienced and industry renowned Trails Rangers and provide a unique platform from which an intimate relationship with the natural environment is experienced through a self-discovery process. The adventure and excitement of tracking big game, discovering the fascinating interaction between species, enjoying the often unseen beauty of delicate flora, interpreting sounds and scent and the entertaining folklore around a camp fire all contribute to a rewarding walking safari experience. Specialist walking safaris are conducted from our three camps, each with their unique identity and walking environment.
Situated in the Balule Nature Reserve and GKNP Indawo has been purposely designed to fully integrate with the natural surrounding environment. This small but comfortable tented bush camp evokes the true spirit of an adventurous safari. Eight Guests are accommodated in four fully serviced safari tents serviced by two open-air bathrooms each with showers, flush toilets and hot water.
You are transferred from OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg to Tsakane Safari Camp in the Balule Nature Reserve.
